Creating Understanding and Awareness
Student-Centered Research
We conducted a survey of 1000+ students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni, and a town hall and a policy solution workshop engaging student leaders in collaborative reform development. This participatory reform development, and established a brand-based coalition through research-focused outreach.

Amplifying Research Findings and Student's Stories
We leveraged existing campus media, EFP social media, and student organization partnerships to disseminate our findings, share student stories, and build awareness
Advocate for Reforms
Grassroots Mobilization
We distributed the Light, Truth, Courage petition detailing our research findings and proposed reforms throughout campus and our organizational network, quantifying student support through signatures.

Institutional Channels
We passed legislation through Student Government Association Senate, establishing representative endorsements and increasing institutional obligation to implement reforms.

We cultivated and strengthened connections with Northeastern University administration at multiple levels, establishing channels to direct dialogue on reform implementation.
Coalition Building
Boston Area Network
We establish partnerships with university student advocacy organizations, community advocacy organizations, and elected officials across Boston. This regional coalition demonstrates broad community support.

Public Demonstration of Support
We hosted the Students Light, Truth, and Courage Rally attended by Northeastern affiliates, students across Boston, community organizers, and elected officials. The rally's diverse attendance demonstrates the passionate and mobilized political and community stakeholders wiling to take visible action to push universities to stand up for their missions​
